Up 'Til Dawn letter writing campaign set at $60,000

The only university wide fund-raising project, Up 'Til Dawn, is beginning its letter writing campaign Nov. 4 with a goal to raise $60,000, said Abby Crawford, director of public relations for the event.

“The letters are sent to family and friends in hopes to raise as much money as possible,” she said.

TCU was the second university to host the Up 'Til Dawn event, which raises money for the St. Jude Hospital in Memphis. The event raised $40,000 last year.

This year, 80 teams are registered and are required to raise a minimum of $750 for the March 28 event being held in the new University Recreation Center, Crawford said.

She said Up 'Til Dawn has already raised $7,000 for the hospital.
