Football team plays final spring scrimmage Sat.

The TCU football team will put on the pads for the final time this spring Saturday when it competes in the annual Spring Game. The contest pitting the Purple against the White is set for 11 a.m. at Amon Carter Stadium. Admission to the scrimmage is free.

As an added treat this year, the TCU Athletics Department will be hosting a Spring Cleaning Sale, which begins at 10 a.m.

The TCU Athletics Department will be cleaning out its closets and making used football, basketball and baseball jerseys along with warmups from several sports available for sale to the public. All proceeds will benefit the TCU Athletics Department and the Frog Club.

The Horned Frogs will open the 2003 season on Sept. 1 with a nationally-televised Conference USA battle against Tulane in New Orleans. The Frogs open the home portion of their schedule Sept. 6 when they host Navy in a 6 p.m. contest at Amon Carter Stadium.
