U.S. should change tactics in war on drugs

Drugs are, as my sixth grade D.A.R.E. recollection serves, anything consumed besides food that affects your body. This includes items as various as marijuana, Prozac, penicillin and nicotine. Most drugs are available to the average college student for some amount of money and phone calls.

Walker charge needs explanation
Morgan Felchner is a columnist for the Badger Herald at the Universityof Wisconsin.

Aside from being a Taliban fighter and al Qaeda member, John Walker Lindh appears to have been a pretty typical 20-year-old.
The difference between Walker and the average 20-year-old is he believed so strongly in his cause that he turned against the United States and may have even fired upon American soldiers.
