U.S.
should consider alternatives to war
Commentary by Brian Marks
A
massive United States attack on Iraq seems likely in upcoming months.
The charges against Iraq are well founded: It invaded its neighbors
and used chemical weapons on its enemies and citizens. We are right
to be outraged about Iraqs continued threat to peace. This
does not mean we should trust our government to act in our best
interest in dealing with this threat.

Why do we go to class or take the time to absorb knowledge? What
is the point? Are we here to make the 4.0 grade point average and
get the dream executive job? Do we attend college in hopes that
we might meet the love of our lives and make the memories that we
shall remember forever?

Dwarf
tossing ban violates little peoples constitutional rights
Commentary by Matt Brophy
Jimmy Leonard,
a British bouncer and truck driver, won the British Dwarf-Throwing
Championships by tossing Lenny the Giant, a 4-foot-4-inch,
98-pound British dwarf, a distance of 11 feet 5 inches at the Worcester
pub in Sutton.
