Frogs fall to Aggies in close match

At one point during the men’s tennis match Wednesday at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center against Texas A&M, a fan remarked, “Well, they may win this match, but they still have to go back to College Station.”
At the end of the day, the No.10-ranked Aggies returned to College Station winners, although the outcome was closer than they expected.

Patterson focuses on team chemistry

Coach Gary Patterson said the team is moving along schedule to be “hitting on all cylinders” by the time the season opens Sept. 2 with a nationally-televised game against the Cincinnati Bearcats.
“The defense is playing very well but needs to get healthy,” Patterson said. “And offensively, we’re improving in terms of being more physical.”

Frogs look to extend streak

The TCU baseball team heads into action this weekend with a three-game conference series after coming off the longest winning streak of the season.
The team heads into the series on a four-game winning streak. All four wins have been against ranked teams, the most recent being a 5-2 victory against No. 10 Baylor on Tuesday. On the season the Horned Frogs have a 7-1 record against ranked opponents.

Talented UConn loom into Final Four
