Frogs ranked No. 24 in preseason poll
The
Associated Press rated the TCU Lady Frogs No. 24
in its preseason poll, released Tuesday afternoon. A week
ago, TCU was tabbed No. 23 in the USA Today/ESPN/WBCA
Coaches’ Poll. TCU was rated as high as No. 20 by
Basketball News among the preseason publication polls.
TCU was the only team in Conference USA to crack the top
25. Others from the league receiving votes were DePaul,
Cincinnati and Louisville. The Lady Frogs are the preseason
favorite to win the regular-season conference title this
season after winning the tournament last year in Memphis.

Frogs
cross country teams travel to Waco
The
TCU men’s and women’s cross country teams travel
to Waco Saturday to compete in the South Central Regional
Cross Country Championships. The men’s 10K event
gets underway at 10 a.m., while the women toe the starting
line for their 6K race at 11:15 a.m. The top two teams
in both races, along with the top three individuals, will
advance to the NCAA Championships, which will be held
in Waterloo, Iowa on Nov. 24. |
