Leading the lovely Lady Frogs

Larry Tidwell
Larry Tidwell is in his fifth season as associate head coach on the TCU staff and 28th year of coaching. He came to TCU after a brief stint as an assistant coach at the University of South Florida. He is a native of Sanger, Texas and has spent 27 of his coaching years inside the Lone Star State. He is 50 years old, married and has three sons and two granddaughters.

Tonya Benton

Tonya Benton is in her fourth season with the Lady Frogs and fifth year of coaching. Prior to joining the Lady Frogs she was an assistant coach at Howard Junior College in Big Spring, Texas. She assists with the on-the-floor coaching of the squad’s guards and aids with the team’s advance scouting, film exchange and editing. She is 28 years old and a native of Waco.

Sean McShane
Sean McShane is 36 years old and in his 13th year of coaching and second year at TCU. When he was hired in 2002, he became the team’s first-ever director of basketball operations. Entering his second year, he has assumed a new role with the Lady Frogs and becomes an on-the-floor coach working primarily with the post players. Prior to coming to TCU, McShane spent six years as the head coach of an Australian team that played a series of exhibition games in the United States.

Lonnette Hall
Lonnette Hall is the assistant coach with the most experience with Coach Mittie. She is in her 13th year of coaching and fifth at TCU, but spent three seasons with Mittie at Arkansas State. After serving as a floor coach the past four years, the 36-year-old native of Oxnard, Calif. is now the director of basketball operations.
