Locked and stored in the depths of the basement of the Mary Couts Burnett Library are the following:

In the Jim Wright Collection:

• Letter sent to Speaker Wright a year or two before the assassination. Marguerite Oswald asks for help finding Lee Harvey Oswald in the Soviet Union.

In the Marguerite Oswald Collection:
• Letters Marguerite Oswald sent to Life and Playboy in 1964

• Copies of telegrams Marguerite Oswald sent to President Johnson, Chief Justice Warren and Robert F. Kennedy in 1964

• Copies of letters Lee Harvey Oswald sent in 1956 for information and subscription to the Socialist Party and Communist Youth League
In the Main Stacks:

• “A Mother in History”, by Jean Stafford, a Pulitzer prize-winning author’s account of three days with Lee Harvey Oswald’s mother, after the Kennedy assassination
