presents award, $20,000 to Behnke

Two faculty members were recognized for their achievements Thursday
at Fall Convocation. Ralph Behnke, professor of speech communication,
received the Chancellors Award for Distinguished Research of
Creative Activity and $20,000 for his research into communication
apprehension and anxiety, an area Ferrari said many college students
struggle in.
