While officers were securing the area around Amon Carter Stadium, they discovered the chain link gate had been damaged. The gate appeared to have been struck by a vehicle.

Police found the right front window of a vehicle in the Ranch Management Lot had been broken. Police called the owner and upon her arrival she said the only thing missing was a compact disc player and radio.

A complainant directed police to her vehicle in the Ranch Management lot and upon arrival observed that someone had broken the passenger window to gain entry and removed the compact disc player from the dash.

Due to a large amount of dew on the vehicle, FWPD was not called to process the vehicle for fingerprint evidence. A concerned citizen reported seeing a dark blue or black Chevy El Camino driven by a Hispanic male.

April 11
Student reported that his compact disc player had been stolen from his vehicle parked in the Ranch Management lot. Officers saw that the window had been shattered to gain access and remove the compact disc player.

Police were called to Milton Daniel Hall in regards to a missing laptop computer. Complainant told police he left a TCU Compaq computer in the laundry room of the basement April 10. Complainant said that on April 11 the computer was gone.

Complainant reported that she went to her vehicle at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum and noticed that her stereo had been stolen. She told the officer that she noticed the front passenger door was unlocked.

April 12
Police saw puffs of smoke coming out the sun roof of a vehicle in the Moudy Building parking lot. The officer smelled what he believed to be marijuana smoke. As the officer moved closer to the vehicle, the suspects started to get out of the vehicle. One suspect had a clear bag rolled up sticking out of his left front pocket. Upon examination, the officer saw the bag contained a small amount of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. The TCU officer obtained IDs from both suspects and FWPD was called to the scene. Both suspects were issued criminal trespass warnings and one suspect was turned over to FWPD.
